Paper baling and cardboard baling
The process of baling paper and baling cardboard is used in order to make large volumes of paper, cardboard and/or plastic easier to transport.
Huhtamaki Paper Recycling has invested heavily in its processing plant with a view to ensuring that the paper is processed efficiently. In April 2011, a new paper and cardboard baler was installed at the plant enabling us to process nearly twice as much volume as we had done previously.
Due to current excess capacity, there is the potential for other recycling companies in Belfast to use our baler to bale paper or bale cardboard for a small charge making onward carriage much easier. We currently contract bale for several notable companies within the UK recycling industry.
